Last minute, local Mothers Day gifts

It’s not that you forgot about mother’s day, it’s just that it crept up on you out of nowhere. No-worries – there’s still time to get mum a thoughtful, amazing gift that she’ll love without having to leave the Surf Coast. The mums at One Agency have got together to think about how they’d like to spend their day and what they and their mother would like.

Kellie: It’s tradition that I always buy mum some beautiful roses from Robertson’s Farm Gate. A perfect mothers day would include a family breakfast at Swell Cafe in Jan Juc, gift wise I’d love a yin yoga class at Upstate Yoga, or a gorgeous Yogi Peace Club mat!

Amanda:┬áDefinitely a dayspa voucher, from Endota, RACV Torquay or Saltair Spa. Nothing like being pampered to feel relaxed and special. It’s my son’s go-to present to me – he knows it’s always a winner. I’ll also be going for a walk on the Bells Track (subject to weather!) and no doubt grabbing a coffee from Torquay Orange or the Torquay Larder.

Liz: My mum’s a keen gardener, so a plant in a gorgeous pot from Arizona Living in Jan Juc would be right up her alley. For myself I’ve been eyeing off the new linen and P.J range from Jan Juc brand Society of Wanderers, or one of the stunning dresses by recently launched Torquay clothing brand Nya Ethical. My perfect day would begin opening the hand made cards and gifts made by my kids, a walk with the family and our dog for a mid-morning coffee at Swell Cafe and and later a yoga class at Yoke.

Karen: I’ll be taking mum to Moby Cafe for breakfast, and we’d both love a voucher to Salts of the Earth Torquay! Healthy and relaxing.
